Help-how do improve my A level Biology grades?(WJEC)Watch
It's a Q of approaching the subject in a logical, "smart" (sorry Yankee term! ) way and to work out facts by reasoning. Ask yourself the "6 wise men" ALL THE TIME: Where? When? Why? How? Which? and What? i.e. when studying, when revising AND during exams, and place great emphasis on Greek roots of technical terms (see links below).
If I may ask, just to see the magnitude of the task you are facing, what grades did you get at AS, and which board are you doing? If you don't want to make this appear on BBC TV (), PM me!
Also, try and improve your exam tactics (some tips in attached article I wrote for a periodical, particularly for synoptic Q), but also look at my past posts below (on TSR).
Persuade yourself into the right mindset, and keep things simple - the key to getting full marks in A level biology is to say the obvious, as long as it is relevant to the Q asked (read the Q carefully TWICE!).
BEST OF LUCK!
AND you CAN do it, cos you have the right attitude (in your own words, "you are determined") - "where there's a will, there's a way" - any other specific help needed, please feel free to PM me or tag me.
