Anxiety is when you worry about things, and that worry may stop you from doing things : example Guy sees a girl he likes - he is anxious that she will say no so this stops him from talking to her/asking her out.

Attention seeking is doing things to attract attention : example Guy sees a girl he likes - he acts foolishly and loudly to get her attention.

So if you are anxious about failing exams at AS level so you really want to leave and keep telling your tutor that you want to leave, is that anxiety or attention seeking?

If you are scared of failing exams and because of that you don't go in to A2, i'm guessing thats anxiety?

They are both examples of anxiety, in the 1st example if the tutor were to grant you permission to leave and you didn't leave and did that constantly then that would be attention seeking in order to be disruptive.

Anxiety sometimes can sometimes lead to unnecessary attention seeking. If you worry about something that may or may never happen it can lead you into doing some weird things to grab some people attention.
