Hi guys,
I’m just wondering if anyone has got an offer for PGCE primary for the academic year 2019/20?

I done my interview in early December and was lucky enough to get an offer. I’m an Irish student who will be relocating to Manchester for the year that I will study there. I would love to get to know people before starting the course in September!

Hi - sorry you haven't had a response to this yet. I'm just going to bump the thread in the hope that someone sees this and can help

Why do I do this?

The Universities forums get a lot of questions that are unanswered. This is often because the OP's thread got missed - bumping threads gives them another lease of life and frequently results in someone seeing it and being able to respond

If you would like to help with unanswered questions check out the first part of the list here and don't forget the second part of the list here.

Or if you have questions, get in touch with Puddles the Monkey.

Hi, congratulations on your offer! Let us know if there's anything you'd like to know about the PGCE, or studying at MMU

Thank you! 🙂 I was wondering do PGCE students usually opt to live on campus or do they usually live elsewhere?

While PGCE students can live on campus, many do live at home - we endeavour to find placements for students near to their own home, and take your address into account when sourcing these.

If you did want to live on campus, our Cavendish Place accommodation is particularly popular with postgraduate students.

Information on our Postgraduate Open Days can be found here.

Our PGCE drop-in sessions can be found here.

Let me know if I can help with anything else

Hey there,
Just be yourself! The interviewers are very nice and they try and help you so much. Know a bit about ‘inclusive classrooms’ and also what a classroom looks like! Behaviour management strategies and what a typical day in school. You will be fine, no need to be nervous as they are really nice!

Hi there,
I was just wondering if I apply for campus, in my application will it be considered that im a PGCE student and perhaps I could be allocated with other PGCE students in campus?
