redemption/forgiveness is dead on the left. (if your a white guy that is)

He made a clear point of saying how he was wrong and ashamed of his past actions, there shouldn't be any negative reaction to this, other then realizing that he was a little unhinged when he was younger.

all the tweets saing 'THIS IS NOT OK' - yeah.. he said that. No one is defending him, its an acknowledgement of a past mistake that he and everyone around is very clear... was not ok.

Why he thought it would be okay to tell this story to the world makes no sense.
Liam's friend was raped. The attacker happened to be a black guy. Liam was obviously upset, wanted to kill him.
This is a natural reaction with someone care about being hurt, want to hurt the person who commited the crime.
Liam has shared his story. But it is interesting with the people who are trying to shame Liam.

In emotional situations no one thinks clearly. So what would have they done? Would you not be upset, not try protect your loved ones if they are hurt
****ing stupid non story.

He already said in the very same interview that he is ashamed at his own actions. Case closed.

I kinda think it’s cool that he’s opened up about this, I mean we are all damaged in a way and all have done/ felt things we are ashamed of. It's refreshing to be honest to yourself and others and realise that we were wrong and hurt. I was attacked by a girl of a certain race about a year ago, which made me think of everyone from that race to be like her, and I was deliberately avoiding them. But I realise now that I was just hurt and shocked from the attack and sometimes hate comes easily. It takes a strong mind to reject those thoughts and not become pessimistic.
Bloke's just trying to flog his revenge porn with a taster from his own **** bank.

I don't really see why he's getting so much hate for this.

It's base human instinct to be angry at someone who has wronged you or your loved ones, to want revenge against them, and perhaps even to despise anything associated with them. Of course, this isn't always rational (especially the latter), but he isn't claiming that it is. Indeed he's specifically saying that he isn't proud of it.

He felt the urge to behave in a highly irrational and immoral way when he was at the height of anger, but ultimately managed to get a grip and restrain himself from doing anything in the end. Good for him, I say. Isn't this exactly what people should be doing? Besides, the same could probably be said about anyone.
Mr Neilson should leave these matters to the police.
Lol if a Black man said it, they'd think the opposite. In fact haven't seen this before?
I think he should be blackballed by the entire film industry for this appalling comment. He should never get another role, and all his previous movies should be banned from ever being shown again. Kevin Spacey is the template, his life has been ruined because under English Common Law (as inherited by the US) he is presumed guilty until proven innocent by future trials. Neeson actually admits his unwoke thought crime!

Oh and while we are at it I should be banned from all forms of social media for using such a egregiously racist term as "blackballed." Which clearly refers to the testicles of a man of colour, not the hue of a billiard ball used in eighteenth century elections. A stern talking to from the police wouldn't come amiss for me either.

No need to thank me for sorting this out for all of you. You are welcome. Next?

Protect them by murdering a random person who happens to have the same skin colour as the person who attacked them? Are you ****ing stupid?

He wanted to kill a random, innocent black man and set out to do so.

It's totally bizarre, as is trying to make out this is all some 'pc gone mad' story.

It's not 'thought crime', he admitted he actually went into 'black areas' looking for someone to start on him so he could 'unleash physical violence'

That's way beyond a 'thought'.

But yeah thel issue here is people taking objection to someone who admitted they set out to kill a random black person on the street...
Indeed he even specified their race...

Was about revenge, but had it been a white man would he repeat his actions.

Who knows Liams frame of mind then. What is clear he wanted to hurt someone. Same frame of mind you are showing me, right now
