Post-UCAS Deadline

How would a student coming from abroad (British National) apply after the mid-January deadline for UCAS for universities?
They would simply submit an application through UCAS.

The Jan 15 deadline is for equal consideration. In other words, every applicant to degree courses who submits their application to UCAS before Jan 15 gets the same consideration for the application, irrespective of whether they applied at the beginning of September or at 5.59 p.m. on Jan 15.

If you apply between 6 o'clock on Jan 15 and June 30, your application will still be considered by universities, but only if they have spaces left on the course you're applying to. You would need to check if there is still room before applying, otherwise you would risk wasting an application.

June 30 is technically the last day for international students applications, but universities advise you to apply as early as possible in case the places on your course fill before that time. That is why international students are also advised to make the Jan 15 deadline, but it isn't necessarily tragic if you don't.

By the way, if you are living abroad you need to check carefully to see what your fee status will be. It's residence, not British nationality which determines which fees you will end up paying.
