I`m intrested in study Btec engineering at college if i dont get in to my sixth form to study English,Chemistry,RS and Physics however i do have some questions. I have never studied engineering before so would i be of disadvantage as i dont have the techinical skills as others and also can i progress onto university

Not having any previous technical skills will not put you at disadvantage at all. Sure, the students who have studied engineering at level 2 may have more knowledge but that does not affect you. In terms of uni progression, many engineering courses will accept a btec as an equivalent to a-levels so it shouldn't be a problem.
