Thursday Nights in Cardiff

I'm going to Cardiff tomorrow night to the new theatre to watch a friend in a show, and we're planning on going out afterwards. Where's good to go on a Thursday? Anywhere with really good drinks promotions etc?

I'm not much help with that, but totally off the point, which show are you going to see? My friends trying to rope me into going to some show in new theatre on friday as a drama teacher in school is in it!

If your a student or of student age, then Walkabout without a shadow of a doubt.

Tiger Tiger also has a student night on a thursday, but it's not as good as the monday one from what i have heard.

The only thing to bare in mind is what time your show finishes? Walkabout tends to have a rather large que by 10:30-11pm. It may be worth going down to Walkabout about 5 to get Que Jump tickets as we often do, and it is very much worth it.

It holds about 2000 people and is one of the most consistently busy nights with pretty good drinks deals.

Ranek is right, Walkabout is definitly the place to be on a thursday. Bit of a sweatfest but its awesome. Tigertiger is good, but not compared to walkies.
