6-8 weeks is typical for a postgrad application.

Mainly because they said they would give an answer in 6-8 weeks after one's application became complete. In any case, mid or end March is probably the latest they will take to get back to most of us.

I applied for MSc AI on 30th January, "Being processed" status since then. I received an email a couple days ago that they aim to complete selection by the end of March.

Same with me... Thankfully I didn't see the first email until I'd received the second email, so I didn't have the chance to get too excited.

Hey all - I applied to a Masters of Performance Psychology. I officially submitted my application January 28th. Last week on Wednesday the 13th I received an email saying all documents had been verified and that my application was officially being considered. It also said I should hear back in 4-6 weeks.

Good luck everyone!

I applied less than 48 hours ago, so I was extremely surprised to see an email back so quickly. I very much doubt that they've started reviewing mine already.

Hey guys,
I'm looking to apply in the next couple of days. At what stage are you able to apply for postgraduate accommodation? I would assume only after you've been fully accepted, but just wanted clarification, thanks.

I submitted my application on January 23rd for the International Relations Msc, and I received an offer yesterday. So almost five weeks exactly, although I am sure that some programs receive many more applications and are busier than others.

Thank you so much for such a helpful comment! I submitted my application on the 5th February. I know it was too soon to be asking then.. it's just... tense!! Edinburgh is literally my dream university! I'm really hoping I hear back soon, but, my application is still on 'new'! I'm just worried my grades aren't high enough! I'm averaging around 73 on my philosophy modules... and around 68/69 on 'religious' ones. The asking grade is a 2:1, so I hope that the first will be enough! Well done on your offer, so happy for you- and slightly jealous !
