I'm 20, and can not get my insurance for any less the 2,000 pound
Paid £3000 with mods aged 24, and £3300 1 year ncb aged 25 with mods, but I was a naughty boy on my provisional and in my first month of insurance.

What is your car?
I paid under £2k as a new driver at 18, with no black box, but my car is basically a lawnmower about the same age as me 😂
It's a 2010 Golf with a black box. Is £2000 the norm after 2 years? Was kind of hoping it goes down a bit further than that.
19, 1.4 Diesel VW, 64
1st Year £1,125.69 W/ black box
2nd Year £840 W/ black box
2nd quotes without a black box coming up at around £1k
Comparisons websites are helpful if you are looking for cheaper prices. Many companies are not listed such as DirectLine so always best to shop around and suit your best needs.
Mine is 2300 with no box in London at 17 for a 1.3 corsa
When i renewed mine last match it was about £290
20 - 1.4 petrol SEAT IBIZA 2018.
1st year - 2400 with blackb box
2nd year - free
3rd year - £840 without blackbox
Shop around on different comparison sites and sites that do not appear there.n
18 y/o, £800 with a black box on a 2010 Chevrolet Spark 1.2.
£2400 for a 03 1.6 Saxo VTR with no black box which I'm cool with as before this I was paying £3200 for a 04 1.6 Golf with a black box, simply because it had tints and aftermarket alloys.

Age 27, 2 non fault accidents.
Weekend car: Mercedes E63 AMG (5.5L V8 Bi-Turbo) with mods @ 700BHP £1200
Daily: Alfa Romeo Brera (3.2L V6) £1100
Had my license for nearly two years before I bought my first car - peugot 207 costing £4,000, insurance was 850 in the first year when I was 20, now I'm 23 and my policy is being reduced to 500 for the year (moving in July though so it will increase then)
Thought you both knew this ages ago 😂 wrote off a certain terrible french car off on my provisional (legally) then proceeded to not tell my new insurer about it when I passed my test a year and a half later because I didn't think provisional infractions were relevant o sweet naïve child me 😂
From what I've seen on dummy quotes, if I can go this year without being an idiot, I'm looking at around £900 for my insurance after this year. Being in London, I don't count on it.
