ucas will be opening this year, i have started an access to HE diploma course, my problem is at least half of my choices require a grade B in English and i have a C, i'm 21 currently and i'm panicking that i will miss out on this years application. can anyone offer any solutions that allow me to study, resit and have marked my gcse before the ucas deadline this year?, cheers.

I don't have a solution (sorry) but I would advise you to contact the Unis that require a B just to see whether they could offer you any leniency as a mature student? You could just email Admissions and ask - they wouldn't mind! If not, you could always just shortlist the Unis asking for C...
