I want to do a business mangement related degree and i have narrowed my a level choices down to 2 combinations but i cant decide which combo would be best.
Combo 1 - English Lit, Religious studies and business studies
Combo 2 - English Lit, Maths and Economics
Which one would be best?
option 2 imo but if you prefer the subjects in option 1 then pick those.
worth checking a few business management degrees to see what subjects they require or express a preference for, if any.
I'm a Year 13 student and I've received four offers to study Business and Management at various Russell Group universities. Either one of those combinations would be great; ultimately universities rarely require you to have even studied business before applying for their course, as long as you can demonstrate an interest. However, if you wanted to study a course that is more numerically-focused (Bath, LSE, and KCL are all known for having a preference towards candidates studying maths or economics) then it may be best to consider combination 2.
On the other hand, if you're more leaning towards the human resources nature of business management, then combination 1 might be better, as it demonstrates your ability to think coherently, logically, and - particularly with RS - understand various cultures and kinds of people.
Either way, nice choice!!
