Bond enthalpy

Baso I don’t understand how to find the bond energy reversed
So the question says to calculate the bond energy for I-I
H2 + I-I = 2HI

H-H = +436
H-I = +298

And the energy change is -9KJ/mol

Label I-I as y, to simplify it. Then you know (436 + y) -(2 x 298) is equal to -9. Then rearrange the algebra and solve!
