In evolution the more successful a species, the greater the ability to work together and co operate in larger groups.

Chimps are only ever seen working in groups of as many as 30-50 chimps. What would happen is groups of chimps would have conflict and kill each other. The better the chimps were at operating on a larger scale, the better chances of winning. It is preferable massively in war to have a larger scale of organisation if you want to win.

War is in our nature. Every human that is alive today, our ancestors were masters at war, that’s how we are alive. We are their descendants, so we are programmed for war. World war is inevitable o happen at some point in the future.

As previously mentioned, a larger scale organisation has the huge advantage for winning conflict and getting their way.

By being out of the EU we deny ourselves large scale organisation, and thus we deny ourselves the chance of surviving in a future world war. The UK with it’a small time operation will be dominated by big world powers like the USA, China and EU.

By leaving the EU we have ****ed our chance of remaining an independent and successful nation in the likely event of an inevitable future world war.

By leaving the EU we have ****ed ourselves.

My opinion is you should stop eating cheese before bedtime.

Countries can choose to stay out of a war, choose to ally itself to another country or group and we are still waiting for a proper war to break out between someone who has a nuclear weapon

counter points:

1, the catalyst to the most succesful time in european history was a period with many small warning nations each competiting for dominance/power. The fierce competition drove innovation and technology and allowed european nations to develop faster and go on to dominate the world

2, Being a small nation does not nessasarily mean you will be conquered or engaged in wars. Compare the roles and outcomes of switzerland (small nation) to the UK (largest nation on earth) during WW2, and you will see that size alone doesn't seccure positive outcomes.

3, Currently the EU has no army, and is not a military orgaization. Being a member is far less signfiicant in future conflicts then being a member of NATO - which we will remain being.

4, cooperation is great - but the EU approaches cooperation on an inherently protectionist basis. It aids our ability to cooperate internally, but limmits our ability to cooperate externally and globally. Were your ideas to be true, the EU would have to radically shift into a more globalist and less protectionist body.

5, your idea is that the larger the group, the stronger/more productive, is also wrong. Group size dynamics are not a one-way street where everything just gets better as you get bigger. Getting bigger comes with increased problems and risks that can only be mitagated against with correct leadership and stratagy. Entering into a bigger group is only bennificial if you trust the leadership and stratagy of the bigger group.
