Sites that really helped me:
U1 and U2 essential equations:
https://pmt.physicsandmathstutor.com/download/Chemistry/A-level/Notes/Edexcel-IAL/Unit-1/Essential%20Equations%20-%20Unit%201%20Edexcel%20Chemistry%20A-level.pdf

https://pmt.physicsandmathstutor.com/download/Chemistry/A-level/Notes/Edexcel-IAL/Unit-2/Essential%20Equations%20-%20Unit%202%20Edexcel%20Chemistry%20A-level.pdf?fbclid=IwAR3mLj5WO-BIEhRZKbzXamCJxlL4kQtgUaWaxpAYgjwWU2-yfBzpPr8Ln8M

The one sheet topical notes here:
http://www.knockhardy.org.uk/sci.htm

This one was my fav and still is for chem revision:
https://chemrevise.org/3-edexcel-revision-guides/?fbclid=IwAR3snIvb39B3mIBkBjpwWsgRZjV0kyJMhipzDIed521k-2V_UeHM4gQcj3M

Also shawonnotes of course:
https://www.shawonnotes.com/index.php/edexcel-ial-revision-notes/edexcel-ial-chemistry-revision-notes/?fbclid=IwAR0K4ltC6C0s6vvIH0xyDnf_jh-C5UFnT_e7DNZRC_vt2iBInT9NWCyligY

You really really need to make sure your concepts are clear. If they're not, then just clear them ASAP.
Then solve qps from latest- 2014 backwards in exam conditions. Make a table with the years, raw mark, ums points and grade to keep track of how you're doing. Do the topical qp of topics in which you mess up on most. If you can't remember mechanisms and eqs, use flashcards and review them everyday before sleeping. They're not that many and you'll get used to them.
Hope this helps and good luck

Does your school make it compulsory to sit the AS exams, or did you opt to sit them?

Some schools make it compulsory to sit them because they co-teach the Advanced Subsidy and Advanced Level syllabi. Mine doesn't. In my school, you can opt to sit them.

How're you feeling about them? Do you feel prepared, nervous? It must be tough. By the end of sixth form, you would have sat three years of public examinations. Seems intense.

only 13 days left till my first AS exam:afraid:
i am soo nervous and stressed out especially because i am doing the new spec and there is no past paper for it except for the sample papers:bawling:.
And what's more is that i didn't do that great on my mock:frown:
here are my mock results

bio unit 1: A but it was a low A, very close to a B
bio unit2: A, same close to a B
bio unit 3: C :colonhash:

Chem unit 1: A
chem unit 2: C:sigh:
chem unit 3: B

I really don't know whether i can snatch an overall A in my AS, but I'll just keep working on it and have my fingers crossed:crossedf:
