For almost 3 years now, I've been having thick greenish-yellowish discharge (sorry, gross I know) that smells very fishy. I also get periodic itchy spells that last a few days at a time.

I've gotten THREE swab tests done and all have come back fine. It can't be a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis as the tests would've picked this up. It would've also picked up most STD's, which is irrelevant anyway as I've never had sex.

I've had a nurse feel around my abdomen for any lumps and she found nothing. Just today, I went in for an ultrasound of my abdomen and everything was apparently normal.

I'm glad that I'm ok, but I don't want to have to live with these symptoms for the rest of my life....? I'm 18 btw.

Is this all the time or just during certain times in your cycle?

Are you on any hormonal contraception?

What kind underwear do you usually wear?

How much are we talking, just a stain in your knickers or lots of discharge?

When did you start your periods?

What do you use to wash down there?

It seems to be an all around thing.

im not on any contraception.

i wear normal cotton underwear. I’ve been thinking that my underwear might be a little tight but I think they’re just normal elasticity...? :\

theres usually a lot of discharge, i always have to wear panty liners.

started my period when I was around 12,
and I only use water to wash

Damn, you've given all the right answers there.

If I was you maybe consider trying the pill, even just for a few packs, and see if anything changes. Have you asked the doctor if you could try a course of antibiotics?

I wonder if this could just be 'normal' for your vagina.
