Hello I will be turning seventeen soon so I’m starting to look at cars. These are the options my family and I have come up with
Audi A1 (always loved them)
Audi Q3 (I’m quite short and like the idea of a higher driving poisition)
BMW X1 (same as the Q3 although I’m not so keen on the front of bmw’s sometimes they look a little squashed?)
Fiat 500 (cute but I’m worried about their safety and reliability)
Fiat 500X (super cute but again I’m worried about the safety)
Citroen ds3 (Idk anything about Citroen as a brand when it comes to safety and reliability)
Mini Cooper (adorable but what’s the safety like?)
VW beetle (I like but idk if it’s a bad idea to buy a car which is being discontinued in July as this may makes part replacement etc expensive)
Nissan Qashqai (pretty nice with a higher driving position but my friends mums one breaks down a lot?)
These would all be about 3-6 years old so any advice on my above queries and what insurance costs I’d be looking at would be great
Thanks
Lottie

We can't tell you how much your insurance is going as I don't have my crystal ball with me today... It's funny, I usually always have it with me.

Do your own quotes.

The insurance would be astronomical on the Audis and BMW for sure, in the thousands and thats if theyd even quote you. Fiats, citroen and mini shouldnt be too bad but any first insurance will be pricey

I love this.
I like how everyone asks how much their insurance will be.
How are we meant to know?

I think you need to lower your expectations.... dont go for a Q3 or a X1 its really just common sense.

If you want to get a nice fancy car for your first car and pay like 5+k on insurance then why not.
