I was wondering if there are NHS trusts that do free Advance life support courses or provide study budgets for that sort of thing?

The one I've just left offered a free ALS course for its own employees (or APLS for paeds trainees), not sure you'll find anywhere that does it free for external candidates.

Well my trust does but you have to be employed there and not everyone can do it. From my department the only people signed up to it are the nurses.

My FY1 ALS was free and we were told it was covered by our study budget for that year.

I've just done ALS (F1) and it was free. We got given dates at the beginning of the year
