Can someone help me with part ii?
I did the binomial expansion and got this:
pα^3 + βα^3 + 3pxα^2 + 3xα^2β + 3px^2α + 3x^2αβ + px^3 + βx^3
But the question says to ignore some terms and I'm not sure which ones.

It says ignore powers of alpha and beta and any terms with a product of alpha and beta [ie second order errors]
