So I’m aware that Durham has 16 colleges, as listed below. However idk which ones are on which campus, as I’m only interested in Durham City seeing as i want to study law. Also idk anything about the reputation of each.
Please can u tell me a bit about some of the colleges if u can? And clear up my confusion about campuses? Xx

Collingwood College
Grey College
Hatfield College
John Snow College
Josephine Butler College (self-catering accommodation)
St Aidan’s College
St Chad’s College
St Cuthbert’s Society
St John’s College
St Mary’s College
Stephenson College
Trevelyan College
University College
Ustinov College (Post-graduate students only)
Van Mildert College

It depends what you're looking for in a college. I want to study law (have an offer for law actually) and I was torn between St Cuth's, Castle/Univesity and Hild Bede. In the end I decided to just gamble and switch my original preference of Cuth's to University and I have been allocated there.

University has 3 (this year it will be 4) different types of accommodation. There's the actual castle (catered and shared rooms), owengate (pretty sure is only undergraduates, catered as you have your meals in the castle and some rooms are shared), Moatside Court (known quite sociable, but rooms are on the small side and again all meals are eaten in the Castle.) There's also New Kepier Court (this is quite new and more modern. Its seld catered but they're going to introduce a part catered option like cuths, all en-suite and its quite pretty) I could only do into that detail about University because that's where I went for, however it is quite oversubscribed and chances of reallocation are high.
