Cambridge - Bad GCSEs/Good A Levels

Hi! I was just worrying what realistic chance I have for English:

GCSEs -
Eng lit - 9 (100%)
Eng lang - 9 (100%)
Philosophy - 9
History - 9
Drama - 9
Comb sci - 6-6
Spanish - 6
Maths - 4
Art - 4

(This was at a highly performing grammar school and I've heard Cambridge takes my results into consideration with this factor as context, which is why I'm asking)

A levels:
Eng lit - predicted A*
Eng lang - predicted A
History - predicted A*

Any help would be appreciated!

Your GCSEs are fine, even within the context of a "good" school, and are by no means the most important factor anyway.

If you like the course and remain on target by October, apply.

Okay, thanks to you both - I'll bear it in mind
Would it be worth contacting admissions tutors of the colleges I'm thinking of applying for to get there take or would that look too desperate/like I'm seeking validation?

Thanks!

They are there to handle questions like this, yes. However, just keep in mind they will not say you will definitely get an offer (or rejection) if you apply.
