Eligibility for loans

I already have a degree which I think usually would mean I am now not eligible for student loans. However, the course I want to study is Operating Department Practice BSc and I have read that it is possible to get further loans for healthcare related courses, is that the case for this course?

Many thanks for any help

Hi,

Nursing, midwifery and allied health profession (AHP) courses are all exceptions to the rules around previous study and qualifications gained. 'Operating Department Practice' comes under AHP so if you aren't professionally registered in the subject area, you'd be able to apply for funding.

Regards,
Stuart
