Been worried recently about my hair and really want to know if it's receding and if there's anything I can do about it?

Thanks.

No attached picture but honestly shouldn't really need it to give some general advice.

Unfortunately not a lot of natural things to 'restore' hair growth as it's mostly determined by genes.
You could try use 'caffeine' shampoo which helps to stimulate hair growth, but won't do much in the way of growing back any permanently receded hair.

Alpecin is quite a popular brand for this type of shampoo, I've used it in the past. It can take a little while to reap the benefits and it can work wonders for some people, but in all honestly I haven't found it to be of much significance.

You could see your GP and they could prescribe you with 'Propecia', but this is more of a preventative measure.
It's usually used to treat male pattern boldness and can possibly help receded hair to grow back.
At the end of the day, your genes determine your hair growth so it's more of a short term option.

On the extreme side of things, you could opt for FUT/FUE hair transplant.
It does depend on your age and the treatment can usually cost a few thousand pounds but the advantage is that hair transplants are permanent, so any hair transplanted will never fall out/recede in the future.

Booking a consultation would be your first step, if treatment was an option you'd consider.

You shouldn't be worried really. Hair transplants these days are so common.
I have met an Italian guy who had done his hair transplant in Turkey, the most
visited country and cheapest for hair transplants. Costing around 2400 euros
as opposed to other European countries costing 10000 euros. My point is,
there is a solution to it in case you go bald.
