Where to study ppe Warwick, ucl or Lse?

I have gotten offers from Ucl, Warwick and Lse. I’m still looking in to the individual courses to see the difference but I find myself not really knowing what to pick. All three of them have very different pros and cons. I would like another point of view, maybe I have missed something. Thank you in advance.

Have you considered the difference in location? While both UCL and LSE are located in London (a bustling metropolitan city), Warwick's located by Coventry.

Also, maybe you could consider the courses you'd like to specialise in. PPE = Politics, Philosophy and Economics and you usually slowly start to specialise in 1 or 2 by the end of your degree. Which of the above universities have better courses for the ones you'd like to specialise in during your final year(s)?

I have been thinking of the location, I think that the London unis have an advantage there, for I believe that I can “draw” more responsibility and time Managment and all around become more efficient. If that makes sense. Going to a uni in a big city I think will do good to me of becoming the most efficient I can be. I’m not sure that Warwick would offer such an intense, everything always moving” experience, but on the other hand the courses themself would be more individual in Warwick than the London ones. Me, being an international student, would certainly want more individual aid when it comes to the linguistique parts of the course.

I haven’t though of the specialisation and the program that all three unis are offering the last years of the degree. I do think I’m going to go to a more economic and philosophical approach. Here is where the Lse course really starts to shine. For I do really want to keep the three subject as long as possible and the specialise more in economics but on the other hand it’s lse and it’s not particularly knowned for its students sadifaction, and as previously mentioned, the aid that they offer. It is also a 4 year degree.

I will look more in to the specialisation tho, thank you very much for your response:smile:.

You're most welcome!

Student satisfaction is quite important so I'd recommend looking into that as well. Maybe look at student reviews etc.

If you don't mind me asking, what city are you coming from? Maybe you could consider that as well if it's your first time moving away from home. London/Coventry might make you feel homesick or not depending on what you're used to.

If you're wanting to specialise in Philosophy and Economics, perhaps check which departments offer the best courses for that / which departments have high student ratings.
