I’m currently in year 11 and I’m going to give my igcse exams in around 2 months. I have been struggling with chemistry last year because of the teacher but this year our teacher changed and we started the syllabus from the start, so we have been going very fast to cover up all chapters. In mock exams i got a really bad grade and i really don’t know what to do now. I was thinking and i want to take HL chemistry in IB next year but the teacher told me that i should at least get a B to cope with HL chemistry. I want to study medicine so i have to take HL chem but i don’t or I’m not sure that i will at least get a B, I now that i should practice lots of pastpapers, is there any other advice? And do you guys think i can at least get a B cause I’m very unmotivated and stressed at the moment.

I am the same with you, as I only have like 8 months to learn the whole syllabus. I just did 2-3 papers per week, and got over 80% scores in all of them. You just need to practise more and you can gain confidence to get a B.
p.s. I am with Edexcel (9-1) and targeting at least 8.
