Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Help!!!! Creative Writing & Eng Lit at Brunel OR Primary Ed at London Met?

I'm 38 years old and partway through my first romance/erotica novel- this was my dream in my late teens & early 20's- it just sort of poured out of me after a huge life change a yr ago.

Anyway, I've been offered a place at Brunel to do Creative Writing & Eng Lit (i've no a-levels, so tutor read part of my novel). Pls can any students with recent experience of Brunel, specifically with the English dept, share their experiences?

pls could you provide approx yr of study & course name, together with experiences?

The other option i have is to study Primary Ed (i have 15+ years teaching exp) & have been offered a place at London Met to study BA Primary Ed (2 yr accelerated). My dream would simply be to continue with my novel & get any degree to facilitate primary teaching, which i intend to pursue for as long as it takes to get published. I'm just not sure, since if i'm frank, the tutor seemed to lack the necessary skills to communicate effectively!

Confused... so i'd really like to hear about experiences at Brunel!
