Aimed specifically at Jews who are shomer Shabbat.
Possibly applicable to other religions who have a strict day of rest.

Right, so, I'm currently in year 12. A lot of my classmates have weekend jobs which they work on Saturday and Sunday. They earn a fair amount of money, which is great. I would also like to work a weekend job so I can earn some money for gap year, learning to drive, and so forth.

There are loads of weekend jobs available mainly in retail, that's fine by me. I would do those jobs. All my classmates are in retail as well.

the problem?
All those jobs posted by employers want you to work Saturday and Sunday. I cannot work on Saturday. Working through the week is out of the question, I care about my school work a lot and time during the week is a commodity.

I'm wondering if there are any other people in a similar situation. If you have been in this situation and solved it then please state how; I would appreciate any advice.

There are jobs out there that will let you have a 4 hour / 6 hour contract just on a Sunday. For example I worked only on Sundays during A-Levels, just a 4 hour shift. You could contact possible employers and explain your religious reasons for being unable to work Saturdays and hopefully some will be accommodating.
