Hello,My friend is applying for a legal training contract in the UK. She needs some help with the following questions. Any help or assistance to answer these questions would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance Q1: Why you are interested in becoming a commercial solicitor?Q2: Why you have applied to Baker McKenzie? (It's the law firm she is applying)Q2: What three skills you possess that demonstrates you are suited to the role of a Trainee Solicitor?

Why would anyone apply to B&M? It's a great question. I don't really know, but I'll take a shot: because they're third tier mid range 2:1 holding RG grads who want to do City law but know they haven't gotten anything interesting on their resume to do any better than the McDonalds of US law firms. B&M do the lowest grade kind of work which most US firms wouldn't touch. B&M have offices in many jurisdictions US and MC firms don't (or have limited presence in) e.g. Turkey but no bank/client would ever in a million years choose B&M over them. They are literally poo.
