1. What are difficulties in testing Brittle materials (Polymers)?

2. How does changing cross-head speeds effect the varying strain in the ultimate tensile strength UTS? (High Density Polyethylene- tested at three different speeds, 10mm/sec, 50mm/sec and 1mm/sec) thanks.
