Hello, I recieved an unconditional offer to study Masters Public Health at from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine as part time distance learning. I know it is an amazing school for Public Health but I am wondering if anyone has done it Distance Learning part-time? I have some concerns about the level of support I will receive from there compared to other Universities e.g Manchester / Queen Mary.

- Firstly they don't offer a personal tutor which most other distance learning masters offer. I am concerned because I have been out of uni for 6 years I would benefit from a tutor. Has anyone done this course, if so what level of support did you get?

I also have offers from Manchester & Queen Mary which I am comparing.

Thanks

The lack of a personal tutor for distance learning would worry me. How do the courses compare in terms of content? Where do grads end up?

Thanks for the response, yes I agree the lack of personal tutor for distance learning has confirmed my decision not to go. Unfortunately, it’s such a good school but I’d like that support.
