LNAT registration confirmation email

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone else had received the email from LNAT with their registration details?

When they ask for you to bring photographic ID, what do they want? Do you think i should bring my passport, as i have no idea what else to bring!

Thanks.

(Btw, is anyone else taking the test at Camden Town Hall? It's really annoying that my school's not a centre... especially when all the BMAT people have their test on the same day and can take their test at school!)
Yeh, I got the email yesterday too.

Photocard ID: I'm gonna take my passport, it's the safest option really. A photocard driving license would suffice too. I'm not sure about anything else though. It's obviously a precaution to make sure that people don't send a smart(er) relative to sit the test for them, a la 11+.
When do the LNAT results get published?

What do you all have as "Date and Time" ?

I quote:

" 03/11/04 01:00"

Am I really taking this exam at 1am?!?!!

I've got the very same time and date - they obviously don't understand the rigours of the 24-hour clock.

Virtually everyone else that I know is taking the exam at 9am so that they can go to games afternoon though. Meh, I guess I'm just lazy, as I never wake up at 7am when I don't need to!

Is there an allotted time of 9am?

So do I take this as 1pm or is it 11am and they've missed off a 1?

I may well show up at 1AM and insist they give me 100% by default.

I swear, LNAT need shooting. How they can be an authoritive body of our future and not tell the time...

Apologies, substitute 9am for 11am in my previous post. The allotted times are 11am and 1pm. Making chronographical cock-ups seems to be contagious! I blame LNAT for this. Grrr the whole thing makes me so angry, lol... Nobody needs this additional hassle.

Am I correct in thinking you've applied to Oxford? Have you received anything from them yet? I haven't.

Nope, nothing. :frown:

Where else did you apply? Have you heard anything?

Are you just taking 01:00 as 13:00? I am so confused. My test centre will obviously be closed for Half Term aswell which means extra panic. Grr...

Do you know if we can still access our LNAT Reg page? I am sure the times on that "list" were in the 24 hour clock...

Apologies again for the prior confusion!

- I registered with LNAT for the 1pm sitting.

- I received this confirmation email entitled "LNAT Registration Details":

..."Date and Time of Test 03/11/2004, 01:00"...

I think I'm in the same position as you then - and it's their [LNAT's] error with the timings on the email. I guess the main thing is just to turn up, at the right time (i.e 12.30pm) with a printout of the form and some ID, or else we'll sadly be denied this whole experience...

As for my other uni choices - I plumped for LSE, Kings, UCL, Nottingham and Durham. I've received an acknowledgement letter from Nottingham... and nothing from elsewhere.

Which other places have you applied to?
Oh, and I can access my LNAT Registration page - but it's uneditable - and all I can do is printout [what seems to be] a copy of the registration details email.

LNAT Friends~ Oxford, Bristol and UEA.
LNAT Enemies~ Warwick, King's, Exeter.

Surprisingly the latter three are looking increasingly more desirable...

Nice choices. I suppose I'd be content at any of my six choices, but I want an Oxford interview (if only for the experience) - and I'll cry if I don't get one!

Have you had any offers yet?

Nothing, no.

Do you know if Oxford are issuing Interviews *before* LNAT results?

Is the LNAT contributing to Interview places? Or offers?

The LNAT is beginning to scare me... Take a peek at some of the LSAT questions, lol, my god to be British  Just attempted one centred around "Japanese economic fluctuations"

Oh joy...

.

I'm totally in the dark about this. Exactly how 'desummoning' will work is anybody's guess. Wouldn't it be horrid to be invited to interview, only to be summarily 'uninvited'? This may well happen... who knows?

No idea. I just know that it will be used to deselect before interview.

As if I needed any more scaring...I'm on tenterhooks at the minute!
