Hello,
so today I've sent off my student finance application. As an EU student, I had to send a copy of my passport as well.

I sent an official copy of my passport, meaning it has been stamped and signed by a government official, however, this same government official didn't want to sign nor stamp my certifier checklist.

So, my passport copy is signed, stamped and a date is written on it, but my certifier checklist isn't.

Is that enough to prove my identity or what exactly am I supposed to do then?

Hi, in order for us to assess the certified identity evidence we would need the certifier checklist to be fully completed with signatures and stamps. Thanks, Aaron.

That doesn't really make sense to me.

In this thread - https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/sho...php?p=78100350 - Claire from SFE says that a certifier checklist isn't needed if my certified evidence has all the details - that includes government official's work address and other details.

Hi there,

Apologies for any confusion, we don't need the checklist to be completed. As long as all the information is on the photocopy this would be fine.

Thanks, Erin
