Which Uni?

Hi,

After applying to a few unis on UCAS for later this year, I've narrowed my first choices down to studying History at either Leicester or Loughborough and I can't really figure out which one to pick. I've been to both unis on open days and liked both and they both want the same grades to get in. Loughborough ranks higher on league tables but they don't really account for everything, so I was wondering what students of each uni think?
I'm mainly looking at the quality of teaching, social life and what each place is like to live in but I'd welcome any other factors that might help me pick out of these two.

I am also looking to do History at Uni, starting in the year 2020 (currently in year 12). What tables did you look at to narrow down your selection cause I have no idea where to start! :s-smilie:

I started by looking at these but they only tell you so much and a lot of the information might not be correct. I think you're better looking at this sort of thing: https://www.studenthut.com/league-table and looking at other sorts of student reviews, or asking on here.
It also helps to have predicted grades since it gives you an idea of what kind of uni you'll reasonably get into.

I'm not really the best person to ask though since I'm struggling with my last few but hopefully someone on here will help you out with it
