so last night, i was playing frisbee with a frozen chilli burger and somehow managed to crack the tv screen pretty badly. you can really only see it when u turn on the tv, but it's a pretty big crack. our flat has been in tonnes of trouble for doing **** and im a second warning (2 more and u get kicked). Anybody know how much these places charge? it's not a private accommodation just the main one for 1st years. was thinking of just getting, a private repair guy in to avoid getting in mad trouble, or is that sketchy?

The TV is probably going to need replacing so it would be the cost of that and for someone to remove the current one from the wall.

If you are going to act childishly then this kind of thing is bound to happen. Maybe next time don’t throw frozen food around.

Is it a TV just in your room or for the whole flat?
Wouldnt you have to get the private repair guy past the concierge and wouldnt they need to take the TV away?

In cases of damage to equipment, then theres normally a list of prices and they can charge a stupid amount i.e much more than you would pay in the shops. If you have no money theres a chance you could replace it with exact make and model second hand.

Alternatively just say it was an accident and leave the frisbee out.
