Black hairdresser in St Andrews and accosomation

Spannerq2019!!

I’m of African origin and I received an offer from St. Andrews. I’m a little concerned about fitting in amongst other things.
Please can any current student of Afro-Caribbean/ African descent confirm if there any black hairdresser in St Andrews?
Any there particular accommodation you would recommend?

There's only six hairdressers in St Andrews: Sophie Butler, Johnalan, Spoiled, Adamson, Dynamic, and Olivers. I don't know if any of them are any good with black hair, but I think most of them are on facebook so you could send them a message to ask.

I study at St. Andrews but commute over from Dundee. If I remember rightly there is a hairdresser in Dundee who specialises in Afro Caribbean hair. Dundee is only 30 mins away on the bus and it’s pretty cheap for the fare too.
