Gcse english lit and lang Watch

I have my gcse's this year....but I find these subjects extremely tough. I am aiming for grade 6's in these.....does anyone have any tips to ensure I get those...

The best thing you can do is practise lots of exam questions using the past papers- these can be found on the exam board’s website. You should also be revising quotes for each book/play/poem you’re currently studying in English lit (that includes quotes for every theme, character etc.). For English language, I just practise lots of practise exam questions and make sure I understand how to answer each individual question.

Having done the new spec English 2 years ago, all I can say is make sure you know lots of quotes and do essay plans

Just done my literature mock and got a 7- , suggest you do theme with 5 flash cards each per yheme with analysis on the back of each quotation flashcard with context. And poems do 5 poems in depth, and the rest of the poems learn context. It’s not as hard as u think , basically just like language just get w woute day what type of technique , synomns , effect on reader , writers view point then link back to question
