Hey, so im thinking about applying to Oxford uni to study biochemistry. I am currently in Year 12 studying Maths, Biology, Chemistry, EPQ and AS Physics. I already did AS Mandarin back in Year 11 and got an A in it. My GCSE grades are 5 A* (including bio chem physics), 5A (english lit, eng lang, maths, psychology and business studies) and 1B (Media studies). Will that 1B affect my application even though it is completely unrelated to what i am going to study?

Those are all good enough grades to get into Oxbridge. Now it just depends on your AS, A2 and application.

Good Luck.
