I don't hate myself, but I also don't particularly like anything about myself either.

I'm just not pretty and not really all that intimidating.

I have that natural nerdy look, so yeah, my physical features are not really capable of catching anyone's attention.

Once I used to think I have a nice personality, until I realized that I actually come off as boring, old-fashioned, and quiet to others. I'm almost unapproachable irl, it seems as if people are afraid of me

Nobody really enjoys speaking to me. It's not that I mind it either. I'm used to being mostly on my own anyway

i can be quite insecure too...
Zip it you, your amazing your kind and sweet and intelligent
i enjoy speaking to you never doubt yourself you da best :hugs: btw u are not boring im sure Lay would agree

I have an extremely powerful memory
That’s really captivating, do you mean short term? Or long term memory? How do you have a vivid memory? Is it something that just happens?
I’m just curious

I have a really strong long term memory. I remember and vividly recall many specific things that others will completely forget.
I just realised that I have this talent last year....
Yea I suppose it has something to do with the way your genes are... Or you're just lucky to have it?
It's an amazing feature none the less

Wow do you even remember poignant memories or do you force yourself not to remember them?Your memory is really useful for exams then you don’t need to do memorising as you stated that you have this vivid memory that can recall things.Do you find that you do really well in exams because most exams require you to memorise things.

My memory is a bit like this, I never truly forget anything, it is all stored in my mind, although I can't recall it at will, if I have a tiny trigger e.g. simply flicking through a text book I'll access those memories and know exactly what's going on. This is indeed good for exams, it allows me to be the crammiest of people probably on this planet (which is also helpful as I'm the laziest person I know , mainly as I have no motivation however I like being active and productive). So yeah it is good, just teachers hate it. I also have an extremely quick mind (hence why I'm good at puns). And I do finally have like a double mind (well we all do), but mine is more active, as in I can do relatively complex maths, like substituting and simplifying in one step in my subconscious mind while doing something else, like brain multitasking (although it isn't like that 24/7 nor do I have control over what my subconscious does). This gets really strange when I do something and write it down which is relatively complex, but i do not actually think about it as it is done all subconsciously, then I actually think and I'm like "how the hell did that get there", it's like being two people...I do sometimes also predict the near future extremely well, as in I can tell someone something will happen (around me) and 7/10 times it will happen, although this is like 1-2 mins before it happens (so it doesn't work for exams unfortunately) Works for card guessing especially, I'd make a fortune in casinos, yet I don't gamble so no. So yeah I think I just have an advance subconscious, that does beyond what the normal brain can comprehend, yet I'm fairly average consciously however . I've never talked to like a phycologist about this but it isn't really a problem I guess. My mind does give me bad headaches often although, it's a trade off, pain for success. without suffering there is no progress.

You seem amazing I wish I had a strong memory like that so it can help me with my exams without doing all the constant revision work.

I relate to what the two above have spoken about ^^ but Coffee567 it never helped that much with schoolwork. Idk, perhaps I'm different to those two, but in my experience I wasn't able to just look at a sheet or whiteboard of information and retain it. I would remember things if it meant something to me, or I created meaning to stick with it so I remembered it, like thinking of a specific celebrity who shares the same name as someone in a theory I was trying to remember for example.

Np Are you a visual learner by any chance? Perhaps you could find out what type of learner you are by taking a quiz online or reading about it. Then you could apply specific methods to your revision. I.e. if you're visual, you might want to use colour coding and mindmaps. If you're kinetic, perhaps you could do some sort of activity that will remind you of that specific thing. Perhaps do some reading on it, good luck to you
