What's the process when getting a student loan to pay for a course?

I am going to college in September and I am hopefully getting a student loan to fund the course fee.

Does anyone know the process of the whole thing and how it works?

Hello mate,

If you are doing an access course, you can apply for an advanced learner loan - https://www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan

The loan only covers the course fee. If you successfully complete a degree after the college course, the advanced learner loan fee gets expunged.
