By the way, the earlier poster's suggestion of checking out your instructor's car is a very good idea. They usually have ideal first cars for a learner (for obvious reasons). Ask your instructor to recommend a local dealer.

Yep, just make sure you're careful though, my dad did run a background check on the cars history to see if it was stolen etc as obviously thieves would take a little hit for a quick pay, but yeah, good luck in looking for a car anyways

I would save it for uni personally, it's hard to take a car to uni because of the parking charges end up being a lot and £600 is a good chunk of money that you might need
