I feel like the homeostasis will be a pretty big topic this covering most the paper. My best guess is blood glucose level, menstrual cycle and water balance

Agreed
doubt it will cover "most of the paper"
I reckon:
feature of endocrine system
fermenters
embryonic cloning
genetic engineering pros and cons
punnet squares
theories of evolution
fossilisation
cyclical nature of prey and predator population

They might take a sub topic from ecology and make it a 6 marker?
potentially, maybe explaining how eutrophication occurs from fertilisers being washed into a river

I agree that could happen.
or it could simply be explaining the carbon/water cycle

yes they might, but very briefly. So it is better to revise everything
Hey everyone I made a mind map for the whole Homeostasis topic (since i don't understand any of it at all lol) it's all based on the cgp textbook and it should hopefully cover everything we need to know for tomorrow  hope it's useful

Thanks. That's good, but I'd advice focusing more on endocrine system as the nervous system came up quite a bit last year with a 6 marker as well on the CNS so
Anyone got any ideas for topics that may come up tomorrow?
