How does Dickens create a sense of atmosphere in the novel as a whole?

Plan: find at least 4 quotations and pick out the technique in them, if there is no technique zoom into a word/phrase...

1. "yo ho, my boys!"
- punctuation
2. "no more work tonight"
- short sentence
3. "Hilli-ho"
- greeting that suggests joy
4. "Fezziwig, skipping down from the high desk, with wonderful agility" - dynamic verb that suggests happiness

model paragraph:
Dickens creates a sense of joyful atmosphere in the novel.this can be seen in the following quotation -"Fezziwig, skipping down from the high desk, with wonderful agility" dickens uses the dynamic verb 'skipping' to highlight the excitement of Fezziwig in this moment of time, during the holy time of Christmas which shows his enthusiasm about Christmas but also his consideration for his employees.Dickens shows the contrast between Fezziwig and Scrooge in the same position/status 'high desk'. whereas Fezziwig has friendly and joyful manners, Scrooge on the other hand was reluctant to even give Bob Cratchit a day off from work on Christmas day.Dickens seems to be critiquing Scrooge's capitalist way of life.
