Revision time

Hi folks
With GCSE exams in just over two months away, I am helping my son with planning his revision. If he or any GCSE student to revise a subject, say, Math, in start and none stop situation until all contents are revised ; how many hours/days he needs or expected to finish revising the whole Math contents. The same please apply to : Chemistry, Biology, physics, history, English Lit, business .

It is completely dependent on the amount of content you’re covering. It may also depend on whether your son is doing higher/foundation in those subjects.

For me, 2 hours on a weekday and 3 hours on the weekend days seems to be working. However, I might start revising for more in the Easter holidays.

I think a good tactic is to plan times to revise, but not make it too repetitive otherwise it will feel very limiting and also quite boring.
