I don’t know to to explain this and I’m gonna keep it short and simple. So when I was around 7/8 ish my me and brother started having sex. I’m not to sure how it started but I think he took advantage of me. I’m not sure how I let it happen. My brother was 5 years older than me. I’m now 16 and I’ve shut it out of my mind but he still lives with my parents so everytime I see him I’m reminded of what happened. He took my virginity and that’s something I’ll never get back also how could He lure me into something like that?
Should I cut ties with him when I move out on my parents house? My parents now about it btw

you should do what you need to do to be comfortable if that means moving out then do it if you have the means to. You should also try and get some help, a school counsellor or a therapist, just leaving will not heal the damage on your psyche.

How do I explain to them what happened though? It’s not really an every day conversion starter. I can deal with it usually but it’s been eating at my brain recently

If I did then he would act as if he didn’t know why I cut ties with him and I don’t really want to have to talk about the situation with him. I think because of what happened when I was younger I’ve become really fixated of porn and sex

We both got hit but that was all. I would’ve expected them to send him back to Africa but unfortunately they didn’t.

He needs to jailed. that is pedophilia imo. and also due to your age it is an extremely serious matter.

your parents should be slapped in the head too for the way they handled it

I thought the same thing that it was pedophilia or some kind of rape but it stopped before he turned 18.

It usually happened when both our parents were at home or our. One time when my parents had left us in the morning to get ready for school he said that if I didnt let him give me head he would leave me in the house by myself. I let him because as a 6 year old I did not want to be left in a house by myself

Thank you. Unfortunately I can’t change what happened but I’ve always kept it in so talking about it on this thread helped me.

Sorry but you need to tell your school and when you leave home cut off everyone, your parents and your brother because that it just so wrong. You need to call the police, he is not your brother, that is just rancid

Eugh.

Go to the police. Actually, no. They won't do anything really.
Go to a therapist or someone for assistance.

I don’t have proof of what happened I don’t think my parents would tell the police the truth. I don’t think telling my school would do much. I’m in sixth form so I don’t want it to disrupt my studies
