Resit GCSE math to do A level math

Hi, im currently doing A level biology, chem and geo, I love biology and chemistry. I used to love geography at GCSE and I got a level 7, but now I hate it and im getting E's.
I got a 5 at gcse math and I realized how much I enjoyed the maths parts of chemistry, now I really want to do A level math, would it be sensible to drop geography, and start maths resit to achieve a 6 or above and then stay one more year in sixth form to do the whole A level math?

Your first difficulty is getting your sixth form to agree to let you do that.
Its possible to do, but in the hands of your school.
Its getting quite late to be doing it this summer.

If geography is going to be a disaster, then its worth investigating.
Talk to the school.
