How else can I show an interest in my university course (Accounting & Finance).
I've already got work experience, read some books and keep up to date with business and financial news.

I would say that is a good amount to show you have interest in accounting and finance, and is good information to include in your personal statement!

I wouldn't say that you need anything more than you already have, but if you're in Year 12 you could sign yourself up for a Uni taster day (details on UCAS website). For example, Cass Business School (City Uni) run half day courses on Accountancy and Finance and Actuarial science. Similar events are held at other unis like Liverpool JM. Reading Uni run an Accounting & Business Taster Day for students interested in the PwC Flying Start programme.
