My guinea Pig died last Saturday and I've had him since I was a little girl and he was with us through so many hard times. He died from cancer. I cried myself to sleep the first few nights after, but then I stopped thinking about my feelings and pushed them away. I want to get through this but I know that ignoring my feelings won't solve anything. I can feel my feelings building up inside me and I don't know what to do. my friends wouldn't understand and they'd judge me. I don't want to put more baggage on my mum. I need someone to talk to. I don't mind if it's through text messages or whatever, I just need someone.

Here are a few of my feelings:
• Sad
• Heartbroken
• Don't know what to do
• Regret that I wasn't there
• Feel bad like I'm betraying him if I want to get through his death and past it, but I still love him
• Alone
• Suffocated

If you, personally cannot help, maybe recommend someone/something who can?

I think that I understand your present feelings obviously. Personally, I know the moment when something familiar gets out of our life is very terrible. I used to be in this status. I'm having some problems which I can't talk to people around me. If you want to share anything with others, you can contact with me ^^

Grief is so difficult. There are 5 stages are grief denial anger bargaining depression and finally acceptance. It's a rough journey but you will eventually get acceptance and feel better. Hope you feel better soon
