I've gotten offers from Loughborough in the UK and the University of Stirling. The latter is free. In terms of rankings, loughborough is better than Stirling. Is the extra 10k per year worth the money for a Bsc degree? Does your first degree university influence your postgraduate application? Or should I save up for a masters degree(20k upwards)

both are nice campus universities, Luffboro is somewhere in the midlands, one friend chose to go there to do her BSc when she had the grades to probably get in to oxford. Stirling is a quite wee town, on the river Forth, and was the first place where in antiquity it was possible to cross the Forth estuary. So fought over for centuries! Amazing castle, 20 mins from the gorgeous "center-parks themed" Stirling campus, [Lake - check, Swimming Pool - check, cinema restaurant complex - check, nice log cabins - check]

Q. Would you be applying to do your bachelors in something Sport related? (both uni's are specialist in this field)

For an eventual Postgrad qualification, it's not that important from where you are coming, a bit, but not that much. It's important to get at least a 2nd class degree, 2:1 will allow to to complete your studies anywhere, a First class degree would allow (possibly) you to get paid to do a Masters (EPFL, CH do this etc)

£10K a year, plus the costs of living, can mean that UK students have a (complicated) £60K debt/'graduate-tax' should they earn over a threshold , later.
It is then all a debate about purely "value for money" and in the expensive part of UK, there are thirty or so universities that are value for money.

In Scotland, the universities all simply start from being fantastic "value for money," at least for the 2019 intake, for some applicants.

Trinity College Dublin also allows late applications, and is considered good VFM at around £3k fees per year, if that helps?

Your undergrad university doesn't much matter when applying for a master's.

Which course is this for?
