Any predictions on what can come up on the A level paper
Any predictions on what can come up on the A level paper
I can post the questions that have previously come up but I don’t recommend relying on these.

im confused why they did an 'a' and 'b' for question 3? Thought we only had 4 options to chose from, or id it just dependent on what scheme of content we have learned? But thanks for posting this, really helpful xEmmy_Girl

You’re welcome! Yes there are 4 questions - you need to answer them all. The third one is an Anthology question. It is split up into a 10 mark and a 20 mark. Which exam board are you doing? This is for Edexel.

Yeah first one today which covered all of our philosophy questions, topics were: Aristotle's 4 Causes, Language games, Problem of Evil and Teological and Cosmological argument. I finished everything on time and wrote everything I could have so feeling pretty happy with it. Ethics exam is next week

That’s good! We also had our philosophy one today. The topics that came up were cosmological argument, life after death, religious language, and problem of evil. We have our ethics one next week too - good luck!

Seems likely to have a part 3 on Aristolian Virtue ethics. As the other 3 extracts have been covered (Situation Ethics was in the 2016 specimen paper).

I reckon for ethics it’ll be either virtue ethics or kant as the anthology question and then for the 20 marker they’ll ask you to compare the ideas on morality betweeen Aristotle and Kant - similar to the 20 marker for Islam last year

Hi could someone please help me with comparing Aristotle's and Kant's ideas although i know the two theories i don't understand which points to include as a comparison. Also does anyone have any notes on both of their anthologies as that would be very helpful as well.
Thank you
