Hi, I was hoping to get some help and guidance on where to study my Economics degree as I’m very conflicted. I have been out of education for two years now, as I started a business with my family, and I’m now in a position to take a step back and continue with my education.

I have 4 A’s and have received unconditional offers for both, so it’s hard to differentiate on that basis, but Durham has given me an offer through a foundation year.

I have listed Pros and Cons of both but would like your input.

Durham

Pros
- Better networking opportunities.
- Beautiful Campus.
Cons
- Very far from Home.
- Overall course may be more challenging.

Birmingham
Pros
- Close to Home.
- Course and University seem livelier.
Cons
- May be more challenging without the foundation year.
- Safer option.

Any guidance or testimonials would be greatly appreciated.
