Am I allowed to use interviews of poets in my answer to English Literature

Theres a quote from Mr bruff when he interviewed Beatrice Garland of the poem Kamikaze and she gave her quote. In relevant terms, would I be allowed to use this quote and gain a mark as i thought it seems rather unique if I do give the poets own opinion

If it's relevant to the question, then of course.

Just be careful that you're not so determined to shoe-horn in the quotation that you end up forcing it into an essay to which it has no relevance, and may actually lose you marks.
